Business & Pleasure Meet at Luxury Towers
LAS VEGAS – Providing a serene retreat for business and leisure travelers within an intimate setting, The Signature at MGM Grand introduced the first of three 576-suite towers in June 2006. Tower 2 and Tower 3, which opened December 2006 and July 2007 respectively, offer meeting space among the amenities.
Located just steps away from MGM Grand’s full-service Conference Center via a convenient outdoor walkway, the Mobil Four-Star Signature at MGM Grand lends itself perfectly to a Board of Directors’ retreat, a corporate getaway or an exclusive small meeting group. With only 16 suites per floor, privacy is a key feature and the amenities are exceptional. Business travelers staying at The Signature at MGM Grand will appreciate the personalized service and peaceful, yet inviting atmosphere.
All the Comforts of Home & Office
Each spacious junior, one- and two-bedroom suite at The Signature at MGM Grand, ranging in size from 550 to 1,500 square feet, provides an environment that is ideal for working, entertaining or relaxing. Inside, guests discover state-of-the-art technology such as ultra-thin, flat-screen, high-definition televisions, a DVD/CD player and an iHome clock radio for iPods. In-suite amenities also include king-size, pillow-top beds covered in 300-thread count sheets and soft, down comforters. Bathrooms are stocked with plush towels, cozy robes, June Jacobs’ spa products and hairdryers, while kitchen cabinets are filled with bone china, glass stemware, sterling silverware and a selection of cookware.
Suite amenities such as two phone lines and high-speed Internet access with wireless capabilities allow business travelers to stay well connected throughout their stay. In addition, full-size, custom-designed office desks with hidden flat screen televisions can be found in The Signature’s one- and two-bedroom suites.
The Signature at MGM Grand’s suites also feature top-of-the-line appliance brands such as Sub-Zero, Miele, Cuisinart and Bosch. Junior suite kitchenettes include an under-the-counter refrigerator, microwave, stove, coffeemaker, toaster and blender. One- and two-bedroom suites feature the above plus a convection oven, dishwasher and a full-size refrigerator instead of an under-the-counter model. Designed with both the business and leisure traveler in mind, The Signature suites offer services and amenities to suit every guest.
Guests of The Signature at MGM Grand also can enjoy access to the property’s 24-hour concierge service and Business Center.
Meetings & “Retreatings”
Staying true to its goal of intimacy, The Signature at MGM Grand offers business guests a selection of meeting spaces throughout Towers 2 and 3 that are great for board meetings or small gatherings. Located on the towers’ main lobby levels, all meeting spaces afford guests direct access to outdoor terrace space, a welcome respite from long meetings and conferences.
The two meeting rooms in Tower 2 have a combined space of 1,596 square feet, accommodating anywhere from 32 to 130 guests depending on desired seating. A separate 340-square-foot executive boardroom can accommodate up to 10 people.
Tower 3 offers two distinct meeting spaces, 768 and 925 square feet in size, plus a 436-square-foot boardroom which seats up to 16.
Beyond the traditional meeting facilities, The Signature provides several distinctive venues for groups. A Signature suite can be used for small groups or an entire floor can be closed to accommodate larger groups, using each of the 16 suites per floor as individual stations. For those seeking an outdoor venue, events can be staged around the pools. The three pools offer extensive space able to accommodate groups of 50 to 700 people.
When wanting to create an occasion to remember, full-service audiovisual support, catering and specialized menus are available to customize the event.
The Signature at MGM Grand is located just steps from the MGM Grand Conference Center, conceived to be Las Vegas’ most elegant and versatile meeting facility. Self-contained and on three levels, the 380,000-square-foot meeting facility was the first conference center in Las Vegas to offer a completely smoke-free environment.
With views of the Las Vegas Strip and the resort’s pool complex, the MGM Grand Conference Center features two large ballrooms, nearly 50,000 square feet of pre-function space and up to 57 meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 10,000 people. With 16 Certified Meeting Planners (CMPs) on staff combined with 602,000 square feet of total meeting space, MGM Grand is the ideal meeting location.
The Signature at MGM Grand also provides convenient access to the Las Vegas Monorail, a four-mile track that connects MGM Grand to the Las Vegas Convention Center and eight major resorts along the Las Vegas Strip.
