KEEP THINGS SAUCY AT THE SIGNATURE AT MGM GRAND WITH “SIGNATURE DISH”
5/6/2010
Skip the Reservations and Become a Do-It-Yourself Gourmet with Innovative Culinary Program
This spring, The Signature at MGM Grand takes in-suite dining to a new level with the unveiling of “Signature Dish” – an inventive in-suite cooking program allowing guests to whip up tasty gourmet creations from the privacy of their own luxury one- or two-bedroom suite, each complete with a top-of-the-line kitchen.
Available to guests through The Signature’s in-suite television channel, “Signature Dish” offers guests the opportunity to be their own chef through one of three, 30-minute television segments. Guided by Signature Executive Chef Uday Huja and Executive Sous Chef Patrick Hoefler, each simple yet entertaining cooking demonstration provides step-by-step preparation instructions for one of three tantalizing dishes: Scallop Risotto, Tandori Chicken Curry or Baked Ziti.
Missed an instruction or need a moment to catch up? Just hit “pause” or “rewind” on the remote. Don’t want to go to the bother of buying the ingredients? The Signature offers a hassle-free option. Simply pick up the phone and dial In-Suite Dining to purchase a pre-assembled Baked Ziti basket. Priced at $55, it provides all the ingredients needed to serve the delectable dish to a party of four – pasta, marinara sauce, kosher salt and dried salt as well as ricotta and mozzarella cheese. A keepsake recipe card also is included.
With full-size state-of-the-art kitchens featuring such brands as Sub-Zero, Miele and Bosch in each Signature one- or two-bedroom suite, any budding chef or seasoned gourmand will relish the ease with which they can create a “home-cooked” meal while on the road. Fully stocked cabinets featuring stainless steel cookware, china and flatware make preparation and presentation effortless while in-suite dishwashers ensure “no fuss” cleanup.
Providing an exclusive non-gaming, smoke-free, all-suite retreat just moments from the excitement of MGM Grand and The Strip, the Forbes Four Star Signature offers guests a “home suite home” experience unlike any other.
