The MGM Grand Garden Arena is home to concerts, championship boxing and premier sporting and special events. The Arena offers comfortable seating for as many as 16,800 people with excellent sightlines and state-of-the-art acoustics, lighting and sound. Prominent events to date have included world championship fights between Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson as well as Oscar De La Hoya vs. Bernard Hopkins; and concerts by The Rolling Stones, U2, Madonna, Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Jimmy Buffett and the Barbra Streisand Millennium Concert.

Top Rank Boxing has announced that two of the most popular fighters in the sport, Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto, will step into the ring November 14 in the Grand Garden Arena. Pacquiao, considered boxing’s best pound-for-pound fighter, is from the Philippines. Cotto hails from Puerto Rico and is the current welterweight champion. Ticket sales are limited to two (2) per person at the $150 price level and (10) at all other prices, with a total ticket limit of twelve (12) per person. Doors at 3pm.

With New Jersey’s New Meadowlands Stadium as its backdrop, GRAMMY Award-winning hometown heroes Bon Jovi performed at a concert and media event today that announced “The Circle World Tour.” The band is preparing to spend nearly two years spanning the globe, including the kickoff event of New Meadowlands Stadium scheduled for May 26 and 27, 2010.
